President
Robert J. Moravek Jr. |
Many of you may have already met the outgoing and friendly Robert J. Moravek, Jr., of 8910 Friarbridge Dr., the elected President of the Homeowners Association. This is Rob's 5th year as President of the Board of Directors for the Homeowners Association. Rob is somewhat of a newcomer to the Suwanee area-having grown up in the Northeast, in Simsbury, Connecticut. Rob lived in New York City for awhile, and moved to Suwanee with his wife, Angela in September of 2004. He spent his college years studying Business at UGA, where he was also a scholar-athlete for baseball. During his time at U. of Georgia, Rob brought the Bulldogs to the College World Series. He signed with the Texas Rangers after college, and with a promising pitching career in front of him, was sidelined by a back injury, sustained during spring training. Presently, Rob is the Vice President of RJM Renovations, L.L.C. He is running a successful custom remodeling business based in Alpharetta. Rob brings great enthusiasm and dedication to his 4th term as President of the Shakerag Board of Directors. He is a real people-person who knows how to connect with the homeowners. Rob will do his best to see that all opinions are heard and he will work together with the entire association to make sure that the quality of life here at Shakerag will be second to none! Phil and his wife, Jane of 8080 Friarbridge Dr., moved into their home in October, 2004. This is Phil's 5th year as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Homeowners Association. Phil works for Coca Cola Customer Business Solutions, a subsidiary of Coca Cola Enterprises and Jane is a nursing supervisor at Pediatric Associates of North Atlanta. They have three grown children and three grand children. With over forty years of management experience, Phil wanted to share his organizational talents with the Shakerag Homeowners Association to help support their efforts in creating a family friendly environment in which common goals could be achieved. Nancy of 8345 Grendier Trail feels privileged to be a part of the HOA, and she hopes we will be able to help make this a great community. This is Nancy's 5th year as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Homeowners Association. Her family moved to Shakerag Farms in November 2004, and has lived in Georgia since 1998 when she graduated from the University of Florida. GO GATORS! Nancy is a native Korean, but was raised in the US since she was a baby. She has a B.S. in Computer Engineering, and works for Motorola as an IT Project Manager. Nancy also loves photography and crafts, and looks forward to getting to know more people in our area. It is her pleasure to help make the right choices for our entire community, and she hopes all of the homeowners will get involved as well! Stephanie Sandlin

Stephanie was one of the first original homeowners in Shakerag Farms.This is Stephanie’s 3rd year as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Homeowners Association. Stephanie lived in Atlanta as a child, from 1972 to 1981 and moved to Chatham Township, NJ in her sophomore year in High School.She attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ where she received a B.S. in Marketing.Following undergraduate college, Stephanie attended James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, VA where she received a MBA in Business Administration.Stephanie began her career with Ricoh Corporation in NJ in 1994 and transferred to Atlanta, GA in 2001 to be with her family who was also returning to Atlanta, GA to begin an early retirement.Stephanie loves TV, movies, and concerts.Stephanie is honored to be a part of the HOA and looks forward to meeting the homeowners and making a difference in our community.Please join us in helping to welcome her again as our Treasurer! | |
